I work mainly with silver giving it unusual textures and finishes.  I prefer matt or oxidised surfaces that highlight the texture given to the piece to the traditional high polish
finish.  Colour is added using a variety of semi-precious stones, and freshwater pearls.

I draw my inspiration from the world around me, from nature and landscapes in my native Spain and in my adoptive country, Scotland.  I am also influenced by traditional patterns such as vintage wallpapers or Moroccan tiles.  These patterns are given a contemporary twist with unusual shapes and incorporated into the piece of jewellery.  My jewellery is always easy to wear.  I aspire to find understated beauty in the simplest of forms.

Recently I have started experimenting with different jewellery techniques such as photo etching.  This process allows me to achieve intricate and delicate patterns on the surface of the silver that I then transforms into a piece of contemporary jewellery.
